Peanut Halwa


I love Navratri, it is such a colourful and bright festival. And no festival is complete without some delicious food so I kick start my fast with this melt in your mouth Peanut Halwa. Doesn’t take much time to cook and is a perfect dish to make for morning breakfast. To relish it more have it with hot glass of milk. On this sweet note wishing everyone a very happy Navratri.  

Ingredients:
100 Gms Peanut                                                                  
4-5 tbs Desi ghee
1 tbs Green Cardamom (powdered)
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Sugar (according to taste)
Dry fruits of choice

Directions:
·         Grind peanuts in mixer grinder without using water
·         Then in a pan take ghee and add peanut powder, roast for 5-6 minutes 
·         Once it becomes brown in colour add milk 
·         Keep in on low flame till it becomes thick in consistency
·         Then add dry fruits and sugar and mix properly
·         Once the sugar is dissolved completely add green cardamom powder and cover it with lid and switch off gas
·         Take it out in a bowl and garnish with peanuts and dry fruits
·         Now your Peanut Halwa is ready to serve
